Delete your account.

Before you delete.

Account deletion is permanent. It removes access through that account, including remaining trial or paid cloud access. It does not automatically issue a refund.

Cancel Apple renewal in Settings → your name → Subscriptions first if you want billing to stop. Deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription. For web billing, cancel renewal and refresh payment status. An active, unresolved or uncertain web checkout can block deletion until it is resolved.

Delete from your ReadHalo account.

1. Open your ReadHalo account and sign in with the account you want to delete. Public account access is not open yet; testers must use their invited test environment.
2. If needed, select Cancel renewal, then Refresh payment status for your web subscription.
3. In the account controls, choose Delete account.
4. Read and accept the confirmation. After successful deletion, the account page reloads to sign-in.

If deletion is blocked, follow the displayed billing instruction. If your sign-in session is no longer fresh, sign in again before retrying. Do not interpret an error or a closed tab as successful deletion.

What is removed, and what remains.

Deletion removes the stored account profile and access record and revokes device sessions and pending account connections. Old requests and late purchase notifications cannot recreate that deleted account.

An opaque account identifier, revocation records, and billing ownership, transaction, entitlement and event records remain for security and payment reconciliation. There is no automatic purge schedule for these retained records yet. Verification/rate-limit records, infrastructure logs, backups and provider records also need a finalized retention policy. Deletion does not remotely clear all local settings or recordings. Before removing the extension, use Clear downloaded audio in ReadHalo settings if you want those recordings removed. Shared server speech cache entries are not immediately purged by account deletion.

If you cannot sign in.

Invited testers should contact the person who invited them using their existing channel. A verified public support and privacy contact is still required before launch; see contact status.

Do not send passwords, verification codes, payment-card details or device credentials. Supply only the account email and a description of the problem when a verified support channel is available.
