Terms of use.

The reading service.

ReadHalo helps you listen to supported webpages with device or cloud voices and follow the text with highlights. It does not provide ownership of articles or permission to access restricted content. Voice quality, pronunciation, extracted text and highlighting can vary by page and device.

The public product is coming soon. Test access and sandbox subscriptions are for invited testing. There are no live subscriptions offered by this website. ReadHalo is supplied digitally; there is no physical shipping.

Service operator: the legal name and business address are awaiting owner confirmation. These terms are not effective until that information and an effective date are added.

Your account and use.

Use an email address you control, keep verification codes and device credentials private, and use the service only with content you are entitled to access and process. Do not bypass access controls, interfere with the service, or attempt to evade usage limits.

Account access and purchases are linked to a specific ReadHalo account. Sign in to the same account on your devices. An Apple purchase cannot automatically be transferred to a different ReadHalo account by restoring it there.

Free voices, trials and allowances.

Supported device voices do not require a ReadHalo account. Cloud voices require authorized account access and are subject to the trial or subscription allowance and service availability. The plans page explains the current trial, character counting, cached replay and shared allowance.

The trial is one-time, lasts up to 7 days or 10,000 characters, and does not automatically charge you. Unused subscription characters do not roll over. An overlapping second subscription does not grant a second allowance.

Purchases and renewal.

When purchases become available, the relevant checkout or Apple purchase sheet must state the price, billing interval and applicable terms before you authorize payment. Launch pricing, taxes and the paid allowance are not finalized. Do not treat test settings as a public offer.

Recurring subscriptions renew according to the terms shown by the billing provider until cancellation. Access is activated after payment is verified and continues for the verified period, subject to a refund, revocation or dispute. A failed renewal does not erase an already verified paid period.

Web and Apple subscriptions are managed separately. See refunds and cancellation. Uninstalling ReadHalo or deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Stopping use and deleting an account.

You can stop using ReadHalo, revoke device access or delete your account. Deletion removes your ability to use that account’s cloud access, including remaining paid access, and does not itself request a refund. Resolve renewal or pending checkout issues before deleting.

The privacy draft describes processing and records retained after deletion. A restoration of a purchase does not recreate a deleted ReadHalo account.

Rights and unresolved legal terms.

Nothing in this draft is intended to exclude mandatory consumer rights. Refund eligibility, service-change notices, suspension and termination procedures, age eligibility, liability terms, governing law and dispute resolution require owner and legal review for the countries where ReadHalo will be offered.

Those choices remain unresolved; this page must not be presented as approved contractual terms. A verified support contact and effective date are also required before launch.
